Who can qualify to be a Care Circle member?
Anyone with access to a computer, the internet, and who receives a special invitation from a chronically ill person through myLink4Life.
Can I be in a Care Circle if I live in another state?
Yes. Distance doesn’t matter. All that is needed is a computer with Internet connection and the desire and willingness to help a loved one.
What will I do as a Care Circle member?
There are a number of things you can choose:
- Receive reminders to take readings
- Remind the person to take a reading or medication
- Call or visit the person to give them encouragement
- Receive alerts when readings are outside pre-set limits
- Help with emergency actions when necessary
How often will I receive messages or alerts?
You will set the frequency and method (email, text message, or phone call). You can coordinate with the healthcare practitioner regarding actions to take in case of an emergency alert.
How much will it cost to be a Care Circle member?
There is no charge to the Care Circle member. The myLinkLife participant is charged a low monthly fee for the service. Care Circle members can choose to pay the fee for their loved one.
How can I start a mL4L Care Circle?
Tell your pharmacist, doctor, or other healthcare professional that you would like to start a myLike4Life Care Circle.
